CBD (cannabidiol) is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in cannabis plants. It is one of the two main cannabinoids in the cannabis plant.

Epilepsy

Heart issues

A weakened immune system

Parkinson disease

Are taking other medications

Are taking alcohol or other drugs that slow brain activity

CBD can be harmful to the liver and can interfere with many medications. It can increase the levels of medications in the blood to potentially toxic levels, or decrease levels and reduce their effectiveness. CBD can also cause serious side effects, such as liver damage and suicidal thoughts or behaviors. You should always consult a healthcare professional before using CBD products, especially if you take any medications or supplements. The FDA does not regulate most CBD products.
